Housing and Sustainable Communities Agency
The Housing and Sustainable Communities Agency was set up in May 2010 by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. Co. Limerick has over 30 active housing associations providing housing and related services to the elderly and people with disabilities. The County Limerick Housing Services Company operates as an umbrella organisation providing a range of support services to these housing associations.

Private Residential Tenancies Board
Operates a national tenancy registration system and provides information and advice on all aspects of the private rented sector.

National Association of Building Co-Operatives
NABCo is the national federation of the co-operative housing movement in Ireland. Their website provides information on how to establish a housing co-operative as well as the history and current position of building co-operatives within the Irish housing sector.

Disability Federation of Ireland
The DFI represents and supports over 150 voluntary disability organisations and is the national support organisation and advocate for voluntary disability organisations in Ireland who provide services to people with disabilities and disabling conditions.

Rural Resettlement
Rural Resettlement Ireland was established in 1990 as a voluntary non-profit organisation that aims to assist families to leave the city and resettle permanently in rural areas.
