ICSH Tenant's Handbook Competition
In 2009, the ICSH ran a Tenant's Handbook Competition and the joint winners were HAIL Housing Association from Dublin and Roscara Housing Associattion based in Roscommon.
HAIL Housing Association provides general needs and supported housing and Roscara Housing Association provides housing for people with intellectual disabilities. The competition was sponsored by Bord Gais Energy and the winners each received a €500 energy voucher. The competition allows the ICSH to showcase the very good work and high quality information available in the voluntary housing sector. The handbook provides user friendly information to tenants. It gives information on tenancy conditions, safety in the home and landlord and tenancy responsibilities.
