Following a very successful seminar on housing law held in 2011, the ICSH is pleased to announce a further CPD seminar on this subject which will examine new developments in a wide range of housing law issued as well as giving practical information on how to prevent tenancy problems resulting in legal proceedings.

Topics covered will include:

• Latest developments in evictions and anti social behaviour case law.
• Section 62 proceedings and current case law.
• Alternative methods of debt recovery and rent arrears.
• Housing law and human rights.
• Most up to date information on the voluntary housing sector and the impact of the Residental Tenancies Board.
• Impact of the new guidelines assessing eligibility for social housing.
• Advocacy for social housing tenants and applicants.
