Legal Remedies for Social Housing Providers

Following a very successful seminar on housing law held in 2011, the ICSH is pleased to announce a further CPD seminar on this subject which will examine new developments in a wide range of housing law issued as well as giving practical information on how to prevent tenancy problems resulting in legal proceedings.
Topics covered will include:
- Latest developments in evictions and anti social behaviour case law.
- Section 62 proceedings and current case law.
- Alternative methods of debt recovery and rent arrears.
- Housing law and human rights.
- Most up to date information on the voluntary housing sector and the impact of the Residental Tenancies Board.
- Impact of the new guidelines assessing eligibility for social housing.
- Advocacy for social housing tenants and applicants.
The seminar will take place in Dublin with the venue to be confirmed in the coming days.
