Irish Council for Social Housing / Services / ICSH Business Energy Saving Scheme

ICSH Business Energy Saving Scheme

In light of the recent increases in energy prices in Ireland the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH) is delighted to introduce to our Members the ICSH Business Energy Saving Scheme in association with Bord Gais Energy Supply. The scheme is designed solely for the business premises and communal facilities of our Members to save on Electricity costs. It is hoped that the scheme will be expanded to include domestic units in the future. It builds on the success of the ICSH group insurance scheme launched in 2004/5.

What are the Benefits?

The scheme will guarantee savings to everyone off the Electricity Supply Board (E.S.B) ‘General Purpose’ tariff. The guarantee will be for a minimum of 12 months.

After the initial 12 months, Bord Gais Energy Supply will guarantee that it will continue to provide electricity at a cheaper rate than the other providers. Members will have different profiles and different energy suppliers, so we have enclosed a breakdown of the different tariffs available and the coinciding discount guarantee. Bord Gais will also quote for any other profile not listed. Everyone will be discounted. Savings are based on prices compared to current E.S.B general purpose rates.

A quotation form has been designed by the ICSH and can be downloaded here. Please send the completed form along with a photocopy of your most recent electricity bills to the ICSH development team. Bord Gais Energy Supply who we will liaise with will then be in contact with you to discuss your potential savings.

If you choose to change to Bord Gais Energy Supply there will be no changes made to your meter, connections or power quality. Bord Gais will contact E.S.B Networks and make the changeover arrangements for you. The next bill you receive will contain the same information as provided by your current supplier apart from a change in the supplier name and of course the guaranteed saving on the general purpose tariff.

If you would like to discuss this unique offer please contact Margaret Coleman at margaretcoleman@icsh.ie or by telephone 01 6618334 and we will give you more information.
