European Neighbours' Day 2013
European Neighbours Day – Friday 31st May 2013
Since 2010, the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH) has supported members to celebrate the European Neighbours Day in Ireland. Following the success of the last three years events the ICSH again encouraged members to hold an event in 2013 with residents in local communities around Ireland. Events which have been held in the past include coffee mornings, open days, music sessions, barbeques, storytelling, tea parties, family day, face painting, dancing and much more.
This day provided an opportunity to promote the work of the Housing Association sector where ICSH members are now active in over 500 urban and rural local communities through the country and helped make the link between Housing Associations in Ireland and their wider community benefit.
