The annual ICSH Tier One Seminar, an event specifically aimed at board members and employees of smaller associations, took place on Thursday September 29th in the Ashling Hotel, Dublin 8. This followed on from last year’s successful seminar and featured presentations from expert speakers on topical issues such as financial governance and best practice for smaller charities, asset management and governance in the context of the Voluntary Regulation Code.
The ICSH Housing Finance Conference, backed by AIB, took place in the Newpark Hotel, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny on 20-21 October 2016.

The 2013 ICSH Biennial National Social Housing Conference took place in Wexford on the 18th and 19th of September, bringing together more than 250 staff and voluntary board members of housing associations and co-operatives, local authority officials, elected members, tenant bodies, Government officials, private sector organisations and those involved in research and consultancy.
CECODHAS Housing Europe is the European Federation of Public, Cooperative & Social Housing - a network of 45 national and regional federations which together gather about 41,400 public, voluntary and cooperative housing providers in 19 countries.
On 22nd May 2013, a thematic conference was held in Dublin which focused on cost effectiveness and energy efficiency. A key part of the event was learning from the EU SHELTER project which promoted and facilitates energy renovation of homes through co-operation and integrated design.
The ICSH Board Member Award was first awarded in 2007 and aims to recognise the outstanding contributions made by voluntary board members to the voluntary housing sector and their communities.
There are approximately 2,000 voluntary board members within the Voluntary Housing Sector and this award aims to celebrate individuals who have made a hugely positive contribution as a Board Member to the provision of social housing in Ireland.

The 2011 ICSH Biennial National Social Housing Conference took place the 28th and 29th of September 2011 in Galway with approximately 290 delegates in attendance.

Initiated in 2003, the awards showcase the range of high quality social housing projects that have been developed buy housing associations and local authorities in recent years which have contributed significantly to creating more stable and sustainable communities.
