2016 HAPM Results Report
HAPM (Housing Association Performance Management) has been developed and managed by the ICSH since 2004 and is an important self-monitoring tool for housing associations to assess their performance and benchmark this within the sector. The number of participating members and tenancies covered by the HAPM framework has grown in recent years and the ICSH is delighted to see this trend has continued into 2016. There has never been a greater focus on governance and compliance within the housing association sector and HAPM demonstrates that, notwithstanding the legislative, economic or regulatory changes, housing associations continue to provide an excellent service to tenants and other stakeholders.


The five-pillar action plan on Housing and Homelessness, Rebuilding Ireland is only one-year off the block and must be given adequate resources to deliver on its commitments. So says Justin O'Brien, President of the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH), speaking today (3rd July 2017) at the organisation’s AGM in the Ashling Hotel Dublin.

As part of a range of housing solutions, Leitrim County Council is currently seeking expressions of interests from housing associations (Approved Housing Bodies) interested in delivering a group home for people with an intellectual disability on an identified site in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim
First sector wide independent tenant experience survey shows high level of satisfaction with housing associations. The sector is well-placed to ramp-up social housing delivery under the Rebuilding Ireland Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness.
