The Department is now accepting applications for capital funding for the delivery through either the construction or acquisition of housing accommodation to cater for the priority groups under the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) such as homeless persons, elderly, people with a disability with a particular emphasis, but not exclusively, on moving people with a disability from a congregated setting into community based living.

What services are covered by this framework?
This is a Framework Agreement for the purchase of full (architect-led), integrated design team services to support housing projects delivered under the ‘Social Housing Strategy 2020 – Support, Supply and Reform’, which was launched by the Government in November 2014.
Publication requests local authorities to follow-up with the AHBs as a matter of urgency to ensure all acquisitions funding under the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) 2015 are completed as soon as possible and at a minimum the purchase price of the property is drawn down before the end of June 2016.
