Charities Regulatory Authority update

The Charities Regulatory Authority (CRA) has now sent out letters to ALL charities registered for tax exemption with the Revenue Commissioners before 16th October 2015 with details of how to create an account and update charity details on the CRA website.


If you haven't received a letter please submit a query via the CRA website giving your charity's name, CHY number, registered charity number (obtainable via the public Register of Charities) and current address and they will contact you with further details, so you can create an account and update charity details on the CRA website.

 

 

Management and Maintenance Allowance to remain at current levels

Circular 11-2015 issued by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government has confirmed that the Mamangement and Maintenance Allowance for CLSS funded properties will remain at last year's levels.

For the subsidy year 1st July 2014 to 30th June 2015, the allowance is €436 per unit in areas to which the general cost limit applies and €543 per unit in the administrative area of the city councils, the counties of Fingal, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, South Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow and the specified islands where higher unit cost limits apply.

 

The Wheel - Eircode Community Outreach Programme

The Wheel has launched its 'Eircode Community Outreach Programme' which may be of interest to ICSH member organisations.

 

Ireland is introducing postcodes in 2015, to be known as 'Eircode'. The Wheel aims to assist people who, because of their own particular circumstances, may have difficulties adopting and using Eircodes. The Programme will be implemented at a local level by the appointment of one local organisation per county/area to lead an outreach programme involving many organisations and events. 

Dublin City Council - Technical Dialogue

Dublin City Council is currently assessing its procurement of private and public housing with a view to potentially commencing a competitive procurement process in relation to its requirements. The primary objective of any such procurement process will be the increased provision of private and public housing on City Council owned lands.

To assist in the preparation of a competitive procurement process the City Council wishes to hold a Technical Dialogue Process, comprising a number of informal discussions with the market, to explore available development options.

Request for Tenders for the Provision of Regional Settlement Service for Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath County Councils and H.S.E.

Westmeath County Council have notified the ICSH that on Monday 5 January a Request for Tenders (RFT) for the Provision of Regional Settlement Service for Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath County Councils in conjunction with the H.S.E. was published on the website for the Office of Government Procurement and the EU Journal.
