Upcoming ICSH seminars - CAS (Sep 25th) and CALF (Sep 30th)

The ICSH is holding two upcoming seminars on the two key funding schemes for AHBs - the Capital Assistance Scheme (CAS) and Capital Advance Leasing Facility (CALF).

CAS Seminar - Wednesday, 25th September
Delivery under CAS remains a key element of AHB housing delivery. 485 units were delivered through CAS in 2018 and this figure is set to increase in the coming years.

This seminar is relevant for all members who are considering new CAS developments and will feature presentations from the Department of Housing, as well as Housing Agency and AHB input. Topics such as the CAS applications process, recent changes to the timelines involved, development allowances, procurement and the AHB experience of CAS will all be covered.

The half-day seminar will take place from 10am – 1pm in the Ashling Hotel, Dublin 8. The fee is €70 which includes all training materials, refreshments and lunch. Contact Catherine McGillycuddy on 01 6618334 or Catherine@icsh.ie to make a booking.

CALF Workshop - Monday, 30th September
The ICSH is hosting a workshop on the Capital Advance Leasing Facility (CALF) scheme on September 30th in the Royal Society of Antiquaries, 63 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. Social housing delivery by AHBs through CALF has increased rapidly in recent years and this workshop will provide valuable updates both to AHBs that are experienced in CALF and those that are taking on CALF projects for the first time.

This workshop will provide delegates with a detailed review of the financial models and application process involved. Hugh Coll, Head of Financial Modelling with Altair will cover the CALF financial model in detail and there will also be input from the Housing Agency on their role in the process.

The half-day seminar will take place from 10am – 1pm in the Royal Society of Antiquaries, 63 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. The fee is €70 which includes all training materials and refreshments. Contact Catherine McGillycuddy on 01 6618334 or Catherine@icsh.ie to make a booking.
