Respond! Housing - 34 Families to be housed in New Development in Cork City at Ashmount Mews
Respond! announced the completion of Phase I of our new Ashmount Mews social housing development, in the Silversprings/Mayfield area on the north-side of Cork city.
Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government Simon Coveney TD visited Ashmount Mews and spoke to the 16 families who recently moved into their new homes. When Phase II is completed, Ashmount Mews will be a 34 house estate, all homes including 3 bedrooms. When filled, the development will be home to 44 adults and 70 children.
Helena Crotty Respond! Resident Support Worker was pictured with Siobhan Nic Thighearnai, Department of Housing in the Examiner and Journal and Ned Brennan with Minister Simon Coveney in Evening Echo as we announced the completion of Phase I and welcomed 16 families into Ashmount Mews, Cork city on Friday 9th September.
The tenants are glowing about the houses, their experience with Respond! staff and urged the Respond! model to be replicated in every county in Ireland.
