Co-operative Housing Ireland - Development Officer

Co-operative Housing Ireland

Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) is the national federation for the co-operative housing movement. Founded in 1973, CHI has supported the provision of homes across the country and promoted the development of affiliated local co-operative societies across Ireland. CHI currently employs approximately 80 staff and is responsible for the management of more than 3,000 homes through a network of local co-operatives.

In 2019, 371 new homes were provided by CHI. The organisation is committed to expanding the co-operative housing model across Ireland in response to housing needs. The planned expansion will involve the addition of at least 300 new units for each year (2019-2024). To achieve this plan, CHI is seeking to recruit a new Development Officer.
